No. PartsOS only ever produces forecasts, never orders. Since nothing is ever written back to SAP automatically, no indirect-access licensing costs apply.

Personal data is processed solely on behalf of and on the documented instructions of the customer - the customer remains the data controller, and PartsCloud acts as the processor.

Yes. PartsCloud GmbH provides a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) pursuant to Article 28 GDPR for the use of PartsOS. The DPA governs the nature, scope, purpose and duration of the processing as well as the rights and obligations of both parties, and forms part of the SaaS agreement.

For spare parts forecasting, PartsOS mainly processes item and consumption data at SKU level — which is generally not personal data. Personal data arises primarily from the customer's user accounts and is processed solely on behalf of the customer pursuant to Article 28 GDPR.

Login is handled exclusively via email addresses.

To generate a forecast, you upload only two data sets: master data and historical consumption data — sometimes two or three columns are enough. No ERP access and no IT integration project are required; your ERP remains the system of record.

When the contract ends, PartsCloud GmbH either deletes all customer data completely and irreversibly or returns it to the customer. The only exception is where a statutory retention obligation requires continued storage.
